The Client:
Our client is a creative and innovative Agency specialising in helping businesses fulfil their potential through the application of smart database, web and mobile solutions. They are currently expanding their operations in Brighton & Hove and are looking for a Junior / Graduate Developer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join a thriving and dynamic design agency. Full support and on the job training will be provided from day one, but you will be expected to hit the ground running and work on live customer projects in your first week.
Their Brighton studio is situated in central Hove, 5 minutes’ walk from the train station in a spacious office setting. Their managed workspace includes a café, secure bike storage, 24hr access, showers/changing rooms and kitchen facilities. The successful person will be equipped with a modern Windows/Mac workstation with dual-monitor setup and the integrated development environment of your choice.

The successful Graduate / Junior Front End Developer candidate will be responsible for:
• Building and launching websites based on pixel-perfect original artwork by the design team
• Writing clean and well-structured code
• Talking to clients and managing support requests
• Maintaining new and existing websites
• Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and excellent standards
The successful Graduate / Junior Front End Developer candidate will be proficient in:
• Front End Web Development (HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / Ajax)
• Back End Development (PHP / MySQL)
• Responsive Design / Development Workflows
The successful Graduate / Junior Front End Developer candidate will ideally have experience using:
• CodeIgniter-based platforms
• Relational Databases (SQL)
• SASS or similar CSS extension language
• Version control tools such as Git
