WRS Tech Ltd has been approached to recruit a Sales Advisor to work within a busy sales team based in Southampton. The individual must be confident in coordination of all aspects of the business and be able to help in all aspects of Sales (Inbound / Outbound / Order Processing). Good communication skills are important.

Typical work will include but is not limited to:
Key Responsibilities

– Generating and processing sales orders
– Interaction with customers – dealing with all enquiries and reply to same day
– Undertake outbound calling to support marketing strategies
– Develop an in depth product knowledge and be able question the customer until all relevant information is taken so that products / services can be tailored to the customer`s needs
– Ensure all sales orders are delivery noted and invoiced accordingly
– Use of computers for sales paperwork and reporting
– Price changes – ensure key accounts are notified and updated.
– Provide sales support for service and hire enquiries
– Provide technical product support when possible; referring to manager when necessary
– Provide Quotations: – – Respond to quote requests same day.
– – Ensuring accurate information taken through questioning
– – Liaise with senior staff on pricing if appropriate.
– – Chase quotes regularly to keep price competitive and win all possible business.

– Cover reception as and when required.
– Attend boat shows as and when required.

The successful candidate will be required to illustrate experience in a previous sales role and be able to work in a pressurised environment where `on time` product delivery to commercial and leisure customers is paramount.
This is a customer facing position and sales experience is vital and ideally knowledge of the Marine Industry is preferred.

It is critical that the successful candidate is able to work within a small but busy team and is able to be proactive in achieving the tasks on time, have good communication skills both with customers and the branch staff is critical.

The role will require a good team player who is able to cover for other members of staff during periods of leave.
