HR Advisor – Luxury Retail

HR Advisor – The role

The main role of the HR Advisor is to provide a professional level of coaching and consultancy to support the development of an ownership and accountability culture at Manager and Supervisor/Co-ordinator level within the business.

To work in conjunction with the HR Manager, HR Administrator, Learning & Development team to ensure a consistent and joined-up level of service to the business.

HR Advisor – Responsibilities

•Provide managers with a high level generalist HR service by coaching and supporting on all areas of HR
•Provide consultancy support on disciplinary, investigation and grievance processes in line with best practice
•Manage any restructure and redundancy activities in the business area
•Support all absence cases including all long term sickness and occupational health liaison
•Project manage key HR initiatives
•Provide managers with pro-active support with performance management and facilitate the Performance Improvement process.
•Ensure all communication is appropriate and in line with Company policy and best practice
•Own the development and communication of the HR Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance with Employment Legislation and best practice
•Deliver development workshops to managers within the business on a diverse mix of key HR subjects, including bespoke programmes, when required
•Support the resourcing activities for Manager/Supervisor/Co-coordinator level roles
•Ensure all HR practices are legally compliant and that associated risks are identified and managed appropriately. Highlight risks and issues to the business, making recommendations for improvement
