Spider Crane Driver

Salary: £22.8 – £24 per hour

My client is investing and expanding his company – which is in the mini crane hire sector – he is a true entrepreneur and invests in his teams as well as his businesses.

We are looking for self-motivated Spider Crane Driver with good experience and who, in time, would be interested in progressing their career with the company.

You must hold a CPCS A66a Static Stabiliser Red or Blue card and have a good demonstrable track record of working in the Crane sector.

The company covers a wide area – from Cornwall to Birmingham – but mainly work in central London. The Mini Cranes they hire to clients are mainly used to lift glass. You will be delivering mini cranes to client sites or deliver and operate these on client sites.

It is possible that you could be working away from home on these contracts – either for a week or two or sometimes for a couple of months – expenses would of course be paid.

You will be expected to have full PPE (Hard Hat, Boots, Hi-Vis, Gloves and Goggles).

The hours of work are 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch Monday to Friday – all overtime is paid and there’s lots of opportunity for overtime.
