A leading Civil Engineering Contractor going through a substantial period of growth are currently seeking a Trainee STEQ Advisor (Safety, Training, Environmental and Quality)

The Job & The Role

Monday to Friday 08.00am to 5.00pm

Reporting to the STEQ Manager, the Trainee STEQ Advisor’s main responsibilities and job role include:

The Role

Working within the STEQ Department providing advice and assistance where required across the business to ensure Health, Safety, Environment & Quality is at the forefront of Company operations.

The ideal candidate would have some basic STEQ experience, although this is not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate. Experience working in a concrete product manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

The Person

Proven learning ability with a willingness for continued learning
Drive and commitment to succeed.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing based HSEQ systems, procedures
IT Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
Good communicator – both spoken and written word
Ability to communicate throughout the business at all levels
Good organisational, time management skills to manage a demanding workload
Ability to work effectively on own initiative as well as part of a team to deadlines.
Flexible approach to meet the business needs
Accuracy and attention to detail
