Our client, established in the 19th century, is a market-leading kitchen and bathroom distributor that works with trade professionals and retailers throughout the UK. They are now recruiting for a number of Van Drivers to join their team in Oxfordshire.

Joining a constantly growing and developing business, the successful applicant will form part of an experienced and talented team that is eager to grow the company and reap the rewards of success.

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for utilising a 3.5 ton van to perform deliveries to customers throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Working with a varied customer base, you will take charge of delivery paperwork and vehicle checks in addition to the actual deliveries.

You will represent the business in a positive manner, ensuring you are presentably turned out, always drive safely and offer an exceptional level of customer service.

To be considered, you must have:

– At least six months’ commercial driving experience
– A Category B Licence which has been held for at least two years, with no more than 6 points and no DR or DD convictions

Please note, due to insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 25 years old.

Alert and focused, as a Van Driver, you must have strong communication skills, good customer focus and a presentable appearance.

This role involves some lifting of heavy items during loading and unloading.
