Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a Fire Commissioning Engineer to join an ever expanding contractor that covers London and the South Coast, they specialise in the design, installation and service of Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, Access Control and Intruder Alarms systems.

Your role will be to carry out commissioning of Fire detection systems panels including, C.Tec, Advanced, Moseley, Kentec all on open protocol systems.

There will also be a need to conduct service and remedial work on addressable, conventional and two wire systems and emergency lighting systems.

Knowledge of programming & fault finding is required as well as a positive “Can do” attitude and a focus on customer care.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience working within the industry and have a strong background of commissioning Fire Alarms.

Requirements

• Proven experience commissioning fire detection systems including alarms

• Understating of installation/electrical procedures and principles related to the fire and security industry

• FIA 1,2,3 qualified

• Full understanding BS5839

• Full UK driving licence
