Management Accountant

Management Accountant is required for a well established plumbing, heating and mechanical company based in Blaydon on Tyne, this is an exciting time to join as the company are going through some positive changes with clear progression to Finance Controller.

This will best suite someone with previous experience as Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Accounts Manager or similar from a building services, construction or similar background.

The company has been established since the 1980’s with the turnover of £5.5 Million, you will be joining 2 Accounts Assistant who work part time and be working from a new purpose built building.

Management Accountant salary £42,000+ depending on experience (open to negotiation)

Duties will include:

Monthly management accounts

Statutory accounts preparation

Management of cash flow forecasting and budgets

Sub contractor payments CIS

Credit Control, chasing unpaid invoices

Cost accounting using Sage

Directors Expenses

Weekly, monthly payroll

Requirements:

Previous experience as Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Accounts Manager or similar

From a building services, construction or similar background

At least 5 years within a similar role

Management experience

of CIS – Construction Industry Scheme Stable working history
