Our client is an academically selective voluntary grammar school for boys and girls aged 4 – 19 years. There are at present 798 pupils of whom 96 are boarders.

The School is currently accepting applications for the position of Boarding House Parent and this could be a teaching or non-teaching role. This is a permanent, full time role and the primary aspect of the role is ‘Houseparent’, however, it could be coupled with an element of teaching or pupil supervision, dependent upon the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications. The BHP is responsible for attending to the day to day operation of the Sixth Form Boarding House and to provide a safe, caring boarding environment that enriches the lives of the boarding pupils.

A competitive salary is offered, commensurate with experience and free accommodation and meals are available during term time.
