Category Manager (Facilities Management)

Salary: £51,000 – £59,760 per year

Insight Executive Group is working with a leading public sector organisation to source a talented professional to join their Procurement and Contract Management hub.

You’ll be joining this organisation during an exciting period of transformation, which will position them to deliver outstanding value to their stakeholders.

The role of procurement and contract management is to support the organisation’s internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective and consistent services. You will be responsible for ensuring that the products and services purchased from your chosen suppliers represent outstanding value for money.

You will work with Category Officers and Procurement and Contract Management Officers to deliver agreed procurement and contract management activities in relation to their category. You will ensure that resources are flexed, prioritised and organised to meet changing demands while ensuring that performance objectives are successfully delivered.

You will have experience of building successful working relationships with a variety of stakeholders with your ability to communicate clearly and consistently.

Essential skills and experience:

* A thorough understanding and experience of OJEU procedures

* Category Management experience, ideally within Adult Social Care

* Strong commercial acumen

* Proven stakeholder management
