Accounts Assistant – Temp

An opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing organisation in the St Albans already on a temporary basis has arisen. You will be reporting directly to the current Finance Director and working closely alongside the management team.

Working closely with the Finance Director, your main duties will include:

*Purchase and Sales Ledger
*Bank reconciliations
*Updating the cashbook
*Weekly payment runs
*Weekly payroll for 20 employees

Ideally, you will have spent a minimum of 2 years working in a similar role and candidates with an AAT qualification will be considered favourably. Experience of using Sage and strong IT skills, specifically confidence in using MS Excel is important. It is also important that you are able to work efficiently both on your own and as part of a team.
