Care Assistant

Cordant Care are a specialist care agency which provides bespoke care packages in the social and domiciliary care sector. With combined experience totalling 50 years, we have the skills, expertise and knowledge to ensure each candidate is placed with their most suitable client.

We are currently looking for experienced Care Assistants to provide comprehensive care and support to elderly service users in busy nursing home environments.

Based in Birmingham, you will be responsible for all aspects of personal care, moving and handling including the use of hoists and aids, domestic duties and working as part of a team.

Qualifications

· NVQ2+ or equivalent are highly desired but not essential.

· For the successful candidates full mandatory training will be provided including but not inclusive of the Common Induction Standards, Health and Safety, First Aid, Moving and Handling, Food Hygiene, Infection Control, First Aid and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults.

Experience

All our vacancies require previous experience in a similar setting and service user interaction.

Working Hours

We can offer flexible working hours to suit your individual needs. Hours available can vary from part time to full time and a range of shifts including:

· 8am-8pm – long day shifts

· 8am-2pm – early shifts

· 2pm-8pm – late shifts

· 8pm-8am – night shifts

Salary:
£26,000 per year – £26,000 per year dependent on shift
