Job Title: Driver / Valeter
Location: Barnsley and Wakefield

Salary: £26,000per year
Both PT & FT Roles available

FT hours – Mon to Fri 7.30am to 5.30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 7.30am to 12pm
PT hours – Wed 12.30 to 5.30pm, Thurs & Fri 7.30am to 5.30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 7.30am to 12pm

Our client is the largest independently owned car, van, minibus and truck rental company in Yorkshire. They offer a wide range of vehicles from small economy cars, vans, luxury MPV’s, and 17 seat Minibus’ to trucks, from several branches throughout the region.

The role
Reporting to the Rental Manager, the Driver / Valeter will be responsible for the provision of Customer Vehicle deliveries and Vehicle valeting.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Valeting vehicles to agreed standards.
* Delivering vehicles to customers to agreed times and service levels.

The person
You will have previous experience of driving and valeting, preferably gained within a vehicle hire or motor retail environment. You must hold a full driving licence and ideally have D1 status to allow the driving of 17 seat minibuses and 7.5 tonne trucks along with the CPC qualification.

You will be reliable, punctual and must be polite and friendly, customer focussed, and flexible enough to cover full time working during staff holiday periods, should it be required.
