Marine Fitter & Installer

Salary: £26,000 – £28,548 per year

Fitter & Installer required for a high end luxury yachts manufacturer in Oundle to start immediately. Applicant must have previous experience in fitting, cutting and installation of components.

Job Details:

• Standard working week: Mon to Thu 7am – 4pm & Fridays 7am – 1pm
• Basic Rate: £26,000 – £28,548 per year (depending on experience)
• Overtimes available: Fri & Sat at 1.5x rate, Sun at 2x rate

Main duties / key tasks:

• Fitting cleats
• Fitting Pulpits
• Fitting teak decking
• Cutting GRP components
• Fitting glass
• Fitting GRP components
• Competent use of a hand drill
• Knowledge of drill sizes and thread tapping hand and machine type.
• Understanding and application of sealants – hand and machine type applicators.
• Competent use of various saws recip and chop saws.
• Competency in measuring for items to fit to and fit into
