THE ROLE
Our client is looking for an apprentice trained Plater with experience ideally in heavy engineering based within either oil & gas/Nuclear sectors. Other desirable skills include experience using slings and overhead cranes.

THE CLIENT
Our client is a preferred supplier to the Defence and Nuclear Industries; providing in-house coded fabrication, heavy CNC machining, and Complex Assembly & Testing. They are a company with investment in the staff who are employed there and they are looking for employees with the right attitude. THE IDEAL PLATER
Suitable candidates MUST have experience in the following to be considered:
-Must be Apprentice trained as a Plater/Fabricator
-Have medium/heavy engineering experience
-Experience in working with slings and operating overhead cranes
-Have some experience in Nuclear, Defence or Subsea field although some considerations will be made for those with structural background

The successful candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and be able to work day shifts.

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Salary: £26,000 – £27,495per year
Duration: Temporary position leading to Permanent contract
Shifts: Days (Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm)
