An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading UK national charity. We are seeking to recruit a specialist Oncology or Urology experienced Registered Nurse at Senior Staff Nurse level or above for the position of a Nurse Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and management of the charitys UK’s telephone helpline and other associated central clinical services, such as email and social media enquiry services, online forums, peer support and fatigue management services. All services are delivered to the highest quality and are designed utilising evidence based practice.
The post holder will also provide professional leadership for the Registered Nurses within the directorate and provide clinical knowledge and input to other members of the wider team, who will not have a clinical background.
The service provided is extremely varied and in addition to the above it also includes outreach activities and specialised targeted projects at hard to reach communities.
We are looking for approximately 2 to 3 years experience in Urology or Oncology and you will be able to demonstrate previous leadership experience and have the desire and drive to make a difference and take a service forward.
The salary is £52,598.4 and the working hours are very social – Monday – Friday 9-5! So no more weekend or night working!
