Salary: Up to £30,000basic, circa £29k OTE, depending on experience, plus benefits including bonus (see OTE), private medical cover and pension scheme. On-site parking.
Description:
This is a great opportunity to join the expanding Sales Support and Logistics team within the UK subsidiary of a fast growing and substantial US based medical business. Our client’s mission is to develop and deliver technological innovations which enable surgeons to more effectively treat the world’s most complex spinal disorders.
The role has come about due to the company expanding their operation in Europe. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure effective fulfilment of products from customer order to remittance and that the business meets customer promises in terms of On Time Shipment, Product Availability and Inventory Optimisation.
The Customer Logistics Representative works in a fast paced, team oriented environment that partners closely with other internal departments to provide optimum professional customer service to field Sales Agents and Employees; to maintain and enhance business. Must be detail oriented with a strong work ethic focused on providing a positive customer experience. This position is responsible for accurate product order entry and completing sales order processes within the company’s guidelines and Quality policy.
Responsibilities:
Data entry of inventory transactions, sales orders, and return material authorizations in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
Determine priority of shipments. Keep customer informed. Quickly resolve order issues to the satisfaction of the customer.
Track shipments and resolve delivery issues. Work closely with Production Supervisor, Shipping Operations.
Schedule loaner set usage and work closely with Production Supervisor, Loaner Operations to resolve loaner issues, contact Sales Agents/Employees, and assume proper billing of loaner usage and discrepancies.
Research credit/collection issues for speedy resolution. Report findings to credit/collections and process any transactions necessary.
Support and enhance a closed-loop Product Experience Report (PER) process which incorporates the Returned Material Authorization policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience:
Good general standard of education, including Maths and English
Excellent listening and communication skills are required
Positive outlook / team-working skills
Attention to detail is paramount
Previous experience in customer service / sales support preferable.
Strong IT skills
Strong organisational skills
A customer focused, dynamic and forward thinking team player
Can liaise and work with personnel at all levels, both internally and externally
Able to be innovative with new ideas
