Mortgage and Protection Advisor

Salary: £30,000 – £54,000 per year

Pyramid8 are working closely with a well-established Commercial Financial Brokerage who are looking for a Mortgage Advisor to join the team due to expansion.

The role and responsibilities:

• Completing fact find documents to establish the client’s current finances and future aspirations
• • Provide high quality professional mortgage advice, fully explaining different types of mortgages available to the client in line with the FCA principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
• Ensure all regulatory documentation completed satisfactorily within required timescales
• To develop and proactively manage a client bank to ensure successful repeat business levels
• To advise and make recommendations of suitable insurance products taking into consideration the client’s needs
•  To professionally guide the client through the buying process
•  Assist in educating our network through regular dialogue on transactions

Experience and knowledge required:

• Strong communication and listening skills
• Well organised with the ability to understand, manage and exceed targets
• Ability to work with mortgage sourcing and CRM systems
• CEMAP 1,2 & 3 or CERT CII or equivalent
• Proof of Competent Advisor Status (CAS)
