Client:
Our client is a global provider of aircraft component services. They now require a Sales Administrator on a permanent basis.
Main activities:
– To assist the Sales team with trading aircraft component inventory by means of exchange, loan or sale and to develop business relationships with customers in order to maximise trading opportunities and growth in revenue and profit.
-To assist with the management of customer accounts ensuring on time delivery and high service level.
Responsibilities include:
– Assist the Sales team with trading the company inventory by means of exchange, loan & sale
– Source and price inventory for specific requirements
– Understand customer culture and way of trading
– Maximise all sales opportunities
– Deliver high quality and level of customer service
– Provide quick response times to both the Sales team and customers
– Assist with AOG/priority/urgent requirements as required
– Maximise revenue/profit and minimise cost
– Liaise and coordinate with internal departments as required
– Develop and build market knowledge
– Update IT systems with all required information
– Sales department administration
– Answer incoming calls and direct accordingly
– Check Inventory for availability via IT system (Quantum)
-Awareness of component condition, certification and airworthiness regulations
– Understand IPC’s, alternative part numbers and aircraft effectively
– Source part from repair or external market
– Utilise web based Aircraft parts databases
– Evaluate company historical data and determine ‘best price’
– Raise the sales order on Quantum, identifying delivery requirements
– Liaise and work with MRO, Logistics, Stores and Accounts as required
– Filing and general administration
– Develop Supplier & Customer relationships
– Develop business opportunities with customers
– Assist Management, Team Leaders and Sales Executives
– Produce sales reports for both local Sales team and wider Sales teams
– Be a good ambassador for the company
– Any other duties and training as may be required
