SC Education Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a number of supply teachers in the Wakefield area to add to our bank of supply staff. There is a high demand for supply staff across the Wakefield area especially to support with the ‘COVID Catch Up’ scheme.

The successful candidate must have:

* QTS or equivalent

* A minimum of 1 years teaching experience across either KS3 or KS4

* The confidence to teach across a number of subjects (in most cases work will already be set)

* Excellent classroom management skills

* A non-judgmental approach and the ability to stay calm when faced with challenging behaviours

* A Team Teach qualification is desirable but not essential

The rate of pay will vary from £144 – £192per day.

If you have other commitments you would like to work around and have that flexibility for, then supply work could be the perfect choice for you.

We aim to book as much in advance as possible but due to the nature of the work we ask that you are available for early morning phone calls for same day work.
