Salary: £40,800 per year

Mobile Maintenance Engineer – Building Services – Midlands – £34,000
A leading service provider are currently looking to recruit a Building Services Engineer for a Mobile role covering PPM and reactive tasks within commercial sites for a UK Building Services provider. The role will be covering areas between Manchester and Birmingham so engineers based along the M6 would be a good location for this position.

* Hand tools to be supplied by the engineer, and any specialist tools required will be supplied
* Hours of work 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
* Overtime paid at a flat rate of time and 2/3 to a maximum of £40,800 per hour
* Sick pay at the discretion of the company
* Company uniform and PPE supplied
Job specific accountabilities;
* Assist site engineers to complete PPM tasks in line with the yearly planner for; basic plumbing tasks; ball valves and toilet systems, basic electrical tasks; ballasts, batteries and L8 water hygiene tasks.
* Carry out PPM duties to the relevant schedule when covering engineers.
* Service, test, diagnose and repair systems related to the building services plant room
* Carry out electrical and system checks
* Use provided test and monitoring equipment to maintain engineering systems to aid fault and repair
* Liaising with clients & management
* Sub-contractors
* Undertake any other tasks that may arise from time to time
Qualifications / Experience;
* NVQ Level 2/ 3 or equivalent with either an electrical or building services bias
* Strong knowledge of building services both Mechanical and Electrical
* 18th Edition
* Experience of engineering services maintenance
* Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities
