Trainee Accounts Assistant – No experience required + full study support!
Our client, within the events industry, is looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Leatherhead. No experience is required just an interest in accounts. This position would suit somebody who has just completed their A Levels (or equivalent) and is looking for study support.
What you will be doing:
Data entry including posting of purchase invoices
Posting payments received against sales invoices
Maintaining hard copy records of invoices
Assisting with credit control
Assisting in maintaining records of petty cash payments and expenses
Assist in recording mileage claims
Assisting with payroll management
Assisting with project reconciliation
Helping maintain purchase order system
What they are looking for:
Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
Good communication skills
Good planning skills and attention to detail
The ability to time manage and prioritise work efficiently
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to learn and improve skills
All-rounder comfortable working in a small company
Flexibility to deal with the demands of working in a pressured environment
Good common sense
Willingness to comply with and support company protocols and policies
Additional information
Full training provided, with days off to attend college
Study support
£26,000 per year
Based in Leatherhead
Monday to Friday; 9am – 5.30pm
20 days holiday
