Are you looking for your next exciting opportunity? My client designs, manufactures and installs bespoke equipment for Control rooms, as Technical Account Manager you will based in London you will travel extensively to client sites working closely with the customer to achieve the following:
• Manage the development of design proposals from the initial basic information from the agent/client
• Undertake the preparation of quotations with supporting cost information provided by the factory
• Order materials and plan delivery programme for successful orders
• Support installation with technical knowledge
• Ensure strong relationships exist within the market
• Provide support on larger tenders
• Implement company procedures and directives
• Communicate effectively with our agents
• Ensure customer satisfaction

Secondary responsibilities
• To develop & maintain excellent communications and relationships internally and externally
• To be involved in developing responses for RFIs, RFPs and other requests in coordination with the Manager
• To prepare and evaluate the content, programmes and structure of RFPs so that all deliverables are achievable
• To ensure that the client and his consultants are regularly updated on responses and any variations are managed and valued correctly
• Actively gain details of competitors’ products and structure with product feedback to allow designers to understand project goals and assist product development
• To develop Project and installation management, including logistics, to ensure timely project delivery and completion
• Budget and cost/profit management through internal PPF process
• Develop awareness of cultural issues that impact business relationships
• Feedback on quality and environmental issues

Person
You will need to have a background in Engineering, you will be a technical thinker with excellent communication skills. It is essential that you are enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious.
