Senior/Principle Electronics Engineer – Medical Electronics/Devices
Location: Cambridge
Salary: to circa £72,000plus excellent benefits

We are looking to recruit an experienced senior/principle electronics engineer to join a research & development company who are one of the key players in their field and based in well-equipped & modern premises on the Cambridge Science Park.
Working within their medical division you’ll be able to use your excellent analogue/digital design & product development skills to contribute towards new and innovative technology with the field of medical devices.
You’ll be an integral part of their multidiscipline team who deliver electronic circuits and systems for world leading medical products, which will involve in all stages of the development life-cycle, from initial concept generation through to final delivery and support. You’ll also take a technical leadership role in managing your projects as well as liaising with internal development teams and external customers.
Ideally, you`ll have proven experience in electronic engineering with a track record of design, leadership and technical authority. A solid technical and practical knowledge base in the medical electronics would be useful, but not essential.
Expertise in some of the following would be useful:
* Low noise design techniques for sensor interfacing
* Low power design techniques, including ASIC design
* Analogue modelling and simulation tools
* Power electronics, including power supply design and motor control
* Design for manufacture, test, cost and reliability
* Multidisciplinary system design skills
