Are you an experienced motor claims handler with at least 6 months experience within Third Party Property damage and intervention claims?
My client is a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition, and are in The Times Top 100 Companies to work for. They are currently recruiting for an Intervention Handler within the claims department, to proactively and efficiently handle Third Party Motor Claims within the company`s intervention/pre credit hire payment pack processes, and therefore contribute to the control of overall claims spend through minimising third party hire and repair costs.
You must have a solid understanding of the intervention process, and be looking to develop a career within the credit hire field.

Key Capabilities:
” Minimum of 6 months experience handing TP Property Damage/Intervention claims.
” Working knowledge of Intervention processes.
” Working knowledge of CACHE, MID, MIAFTR.
” Awareness of motor Fraud indicators.
” Awareness of risk factors for large loss/ catastrophic claims.
” Understanding of basic liability principles and apportionment.
” Understanding of the progression of insurance claims and claims functions.
” Understanding of RTA / Article 75 liability.
” Working knowledge of claims validation procedure.
