Project Billing Accountant (Wip) (12 Month Contract)

Salary: £420 – £480 per day

This role, Project Billing Accountant (WIP) (12 month contract), is an excellent opportunity to work for a large Property company based in the City of London.

Our client are specifically looking for a candidate with time billing experience to start ASAP!

Description

This role, Project Billing Accountant (WIP) (12 month contract), involves;

– Reporting to the CFO

– Dealing with large international clients

– working closely with Project Managers and Directors to ensure the revenue is corect in accordance with business terms

– Reviewing budgeted costs

– Billing time; reviewing rates per hour and the hours worked to calculate the total staff costs

– Approving new projects where staff can record time onto the project (which is recorded on the WIP)

– Billing the WIP accordingly of what the client should be charged

– Dealing with Subcontractor costs

– Working with accounts payable to ensure the subcontractor costs are posted to the correct project

– Dealing with subcontractor cost mark ups and invoicing the client

– Maintaining the WIP in accordance with the costs

– Ensuring the costs are recorded to the WIP to be billed to the client

– Closing projects once the invoice is raised accordance with the costs

– WIP Write off to be released to the P&L

Profile

The candidate we are looking for, Project Billing Accountant (WIP) (12 month contract), must:

1. Have dealt with TIME BILLING / WIP

2. Be happy with a 12 – 15 month contract

3. Be immediately available or on 1 weeks notice
