Based: Wandsworth
Salary: £26,000 – £30,420per year(dependent on experience)
Length: 3 months on-going
Start: ASAP

Resourcing Group are recruiting on behalf of a reputable organisation to work within their specialist Domestic Violence services as a Caseworker based within a Refuge.
Our client provides services to vulnerable men and women fleeing Domestic and Sexual Violence. Our client is ever growing and developing within the sector constantly improving to meet the on going needs of service users. Having worked with the client before we have had excellent feedback and are happy to represent them.
Responsibilities:
*Working closely with victims of domestic and sexual violence in order to provide a high quality independent advocacy and support service
*Based within a refuge
*Managing a caseload of 15 standard to medium risk victims
*Experience in dealing with crisis management and working under pressure
*Carrying out (CAADA DASH) Assessments and advising on safety plans
*Assessing referrals, inducting clients to service and handling resettlement duties
*Making referrals to and attending MARAC and Child Protection conferences
*Carrying out joint working with GPs, Health Visitors, Schools, Solicitors, Counselling Services, Housing, the Police, Probation, Social Services and various Refuge Providers
If and when needed to:
*Attend Court and advocate on clients behalf also advise clients on all aspects of the criminal justice system
*Assist clients with witness statements, advising on legal options and signposting to Legal Services
*Signposting client on to Housing, Benefit, Immigration and Legal services
Essential Requirements:
*Enhanced DBS
*Language skills; Hindi and Urdu
