Cleaner in Burnham

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 1 part-time school cleaner to work in the Burnham area.

If you have DBS check, previous cleaning experience and great attention to detail we would love to hear from you.

School Cleaner Duties:

Collect cleaning chemicals, cloths and vacuums from service cupboards
Clean your allocated area of the school, this will either be upstairs or downstairs.
Ensure you are polite and courteous to all direct employees that are working at the school or any visitors that may be visiting the school during the time you are there
Clean all classrooms within your area, clean all surface tops, tables, desks with suitable chemicals
Ensure all areas within classrooms and corridors are vacuumed if carpeted or mopped if it is a hard surface. Ensure that when you are mopping, the correct signs are in place to alert people that the floors are wet
Ensure all areas are dusted and skirting should be cleaned every other day.
Ensure all washing up of dirty mugs, cutlery and plates are done and left on draining board
Ensure all toilets are cleaned to a high standard and ensure you use the right cloths and chemicals for toilets, ensure floors are mopped and correct signage is in place while cleaning
Empty all bins within your area and take to wheelie bins outside.
Undertake any extra tasks that maintenance manager may ask before leaving shift. Working hours are Mon-Fri 3.15pm-6.15pm 15 hours per week.
