PR and Marketing Assistant – Corby (temporarily remote) – £16k – £20k
Our client is an award-winning digital agency, due to continued growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit an PR and Marketing Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent PR, marketing, journalism or creative writing graduate wanting to grow and develop their PR and Marketing career.
The successful candidate will be hungry for success, be a self-starter, and have a desire to input their ideas to develop incredible PR and Marketing campaigns.
As part of your role, you will be involved in developing media relations and other outreach activity to generate strong press and influencer exposure and social engagement for their clients.
Duties include:
* Supporting the team in creating strong media and content opportunities in traditional print & digital media, increasing their exposure, building their reputation, and supporting their wider business objectives
* Undertake research to support client campaigns
* Employ proactive media outreach, and keep up to date with current news
* Draft editorial copy; press releases, blogs, features, by-lines
* Use tools to design and make engaging content (i.e., videos, graphics, images etc.)
* Assist clients with social media community management
Skills & Experience Required:
* Relevant degree and/or some PR or Marketing agency experience such as an internship to demonstrate your interest in developing a PR career
* Strong written and spoken English
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills
* Able to use Canva or similar photo/image editing tools such as Photoshop
* Experience of working in teams to meet a common goal and able to meet deadlines
* An active interest and understanding of social media
