Contract Lead Software Engineer

This is quite a rare opportunity for an experienced Contract Lead Software Engineer to lead a small team investigating new software architectures and technologies and helping define and develop next generation solutions for Smart Audio and Smart Home.

We are looking for a technology enthusiast, with an interest in Internet of Things and all things smart and connected and – ideally – some knowledge of audio.

Expertise in embedded software development (C and C++) and embedded systems is necessary, as well as some previous experience in technical/ team leadership, good commercial acumen, interest in new technologies and initiative necessary to drive projects forward.

You will be leading a small team with a high degree of autonomy and will be involved in developing embedded software and defining architectures, conducting feasibility studies, proof of concept and prototyping work.
