Playground Installer

Salary: £15.36 per hour

Due to recent business gains, our Client is looking to expand their team of Playground Installers that cover the South West by recruiting a team living within travelling distance of Swindon.

As this is a new team there is the opportunity for both a Playground Installer and Playground Installation Team Leader who have experience of installing playground equipment (the company supply and install timber and steel play equipment) as well as the related landscaping and fencing.

If you an existing team, great as that is a team potentially ready to go, if it is just you looking for a new job then that is equally okay as we will be recruiting two people and can do that as separate recruits.

As the Playground Installer you will be working in schools, nurseries, new housing estates, parks, public spaces etc., following design plans to install a wide variety of play and outdoor learning schemes as well as outdoor gym equipment.

This will include:

* Following design plans you will be preparing the ground, digging the holes, cementing posts and building the play equipment.

* Related landscaping and fencing.

* Liaising with clients on site.

* Taking receipt of materials delivered to site.

To be considered:

* You will either need to be a Team Leading Playground Installer or the Playground Installer working alongside a Team Leader.

* Experience of installing Steel and/or timber play equipment.

* Ideally digger and dumper experience if you have telehandler experience that would also be useful.

* Be happy to stay away – please note this is not Monday to Friday working away every week but there will be the occasional requirement to stay away.

* Be happy and pass a DBS check due to working in schools and nurseries.

* Either have or be happy to get your CSCS card (current cost to take test is £22).

Package on offer:

* A permanent full-time job.

* A basic salary of up to £15.36per hour / £544 per hour / £2357 per month / £28288 per year.

* Overtime capped at 10 hours per week and paid at time and a third which could mean an extra £170 per week / £736 per month / £8840 per year.
