Trainee Process Operative

Salary: £14.57 per hour

We are delighted to be recruiting for Trainee Process Operatives on behalf of our client, a prominent food manufacturer in the Tewkesbury area.

This position will include some weekend and outdoor work.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the safe intake, control, and processing of the product, while maintaining and monitoring excellent levels of health, safety, and hygiene to deliver a quality product

• Preparing and operating machinery, including processing and Clean-in-Place (CIP) equipment, in accordance with Company procedures and Food Safety legislation

• Liaising with other departments to overcome any issues ensuring an efficient work-flow, as and when required

• Performing any other reasonable task as requested by more senior staff

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience of working in the food production industry

• An ability to work efficiently and accurately

• Food Safety Level 2, or the ability to pass this module with learning support

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude, with a desire to learn and to develop

• An ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Your own transport, or live locally to not rely on public transport
