Salary: £30,000 per year

Pyramid8 have a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Co-Ordinator to join their growing client in Normanton.

This is initially a 12 month maternity cover, however there is the opportunity to go permanent.

This is very much a Transport role and will involve coordinating the drivers and vehicles.

Not only is this role working within a growing team but also a fantastic Company and environment with great facilities.

I am looking to speak to candidates from a Transport background or candidates with a proven track record of administration.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all drivers start, break and finish times comply with the UK working hours and Driving Hours Regulations
  • Ensure the smooth running of the allocated transport shift activity, ensuring appropriate resources (people and equipment) are available to meet planned activity levels.
  • Continuously analyse elements and structure to ensure the best suitability for the business.
  • Ensure best use of own equipment to maximise fleet utilisation levels
  • Forward plan efficient delivery schedules ensuring maximum utilisation of our fleet of delivery vehicles
  • Plan and ensure that all MOTs, 6-weekly vehicle inspections and pre-use inspections are carried out in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the aesthetics of all vehicles are kept to a high standard and that vehicle accessories are kept accounted for with regular stock checks and Audits
