My client, a leading supplier of products to the retail industry are seeking an experienced Administrator (Full time hours) to support a Team of Account Managers and Sales Managers. Your role will beas part of a team to provide full support to the sales team via effective preparation and data analysis. This ultimately ensures that the business continues to grow through positive account management
Key Areas of Responsibility;
Maintain the sales person’s diary by updating appointments / meetings etc.
Book any travel / accommodation required (flights, hotels, trains, taxi’s etc.
Provide holiday / absence cover for team members (i.e. meetings / sickness / holidays)
Complete all filing both paper and Electronic
Deal with emails in a timely manner when Sales are out of the office
Deal with general day to day correspondence as required
Receive/chase new customer briefs/tenders discuss with Buying department
Request new product costings/tenders, chase through and send to customer in the required manner.
Complete product rework forms
Send product images to customers / web Info
Create new customer detail on Navision – issue required documentation to accounts as required.
Attend meetings as required, assist with accurate meeting notes and customer feedback.
Preparing for meetings, prepare agenda, raise sample requests to warehouse for stock items required for meeting
Distribute any meeting notes to the necessary internal staff members and external customers.
Maintain deadlines are achieved through efficient follow up.
Customer buying sample management (Arranging/Sending)
Liaise with customers on general day to day queries by telephone / email.
Liaise with Buying to check availability of buying samples to send to customers.To apply for this role you must have previous experience of providing administrative support to a team, ideally a Sales or Buying team within an FMCG, Retail, Wholesale or Import business. You must have a confident knowledge of MS Excel and ideally used a CRM system.
