Operations Supervisor / Team Leader / Warehouse Manager

Fantastic opportunities are available with our client, a well known International Logistics company, who are looking to recruit permanent Operations Supervisors for their Leeds site.

THE JOB

your responsibilities will include:

– Working with and leading a team of operators to ensure targets are met
– Identifying process improvements
– Ensuring safety, quality, customer experience and productivity
– Problem solving and achieving results.
– supervising team, ensuring all their training needs are met
– motivating and coaching your team, reporting and feeding back on performance

This position is working within a fast paced Warehouse environment, and we have the following fixed shifts available:

Wednesday – Saturday (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off) 06:00-16:30, 13:00-23:30 or 23:00-09:00.

Sunday – Wednesday (Thursday, Friday and Saturday off) 06:00-16:30, 13:00-23:30 or 23:00-09:00.

THE PERSON

We are looking for candidates with the following experience, skills and attributes:

– Previous logistics experience
– Management or Supervisory experience, ideally within a distribution, or logistics environment
– Self motivated and pro-active. Able to prioritise own workload.
– Proven problem solving skills.
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
– Able to prioritise own workload.

THE PACKAGE

– £26,000 per year
– Paid overtime available
