Marketing and Communications Specialist

Salary: £16.8 – £18 per hour

Jigsaw Specialist Recruitment are working with a leading, international engineering business, who have an exciting requirement for a German speaking, Marketing & Communications professional.

The post holder will be responsible for the completion of tasks and projects as set by the department head. There will also be a requirement to assist in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy in Europe, which is defined globally by the business. This role supports marketing communication and marketing of the business and all their products, as well as assisting in the implementation of major initiatives.

Key Responsibilities will include: –

• Perform competitive research and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding marketing capabilities

• Support trade show coordination and events planning

• Develop new social media campaigns, monitor social channels for trending news, ideas, and promotions

• Assist in product launch (flyer creation) and product launch campaigns

• Support on leads generation and tracking analysis on digital and web tools

• Write articles for newsletter, internal magazine, posts

• Capturing and analysing social media metrics

• Assist in coordinating various marketing activities including, direct mail, print ads, networking, internet, sales promotions

• Coordinate regular e-mail blasts, manage distribution process, updates and report on activity

• Marketing budget follow up

As the ideal candidate you will be able to communicate fluently in German and have a degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Digital marketing or Business Administration. A good working knowledge in digital communication and social media management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram professional account) is also important, you should also be well-versed in Microsoft Office applications.
