Our client is an award winning top fifty integrated B2B marketing agency located close to Oxford with an impressive list of clients. Due to continued success they are looking for an Account Director to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Content Marketing & SEO Manager to join the growing digital engagement team. You’ll take the lead in planning, creating and delivering content, SEO and socially driven digital marketing initiatives for their portfolio of clients.
You will be digitally savvy with a passion content marketing and engaging with audiences via digital and social channels. A content and SEO evangelist, you will enjoy proactively staying on top of the latest digital news, trends and best practice, with your own clear ideas and opinions on what works.

Role & responsibilities
• Content planning – Plan effective content marketing campaigns and prepare proposals for clients.
• Research – Use a variety of tools and techniques to determine the necessary information to create the most effective content.
• Content creation – Write new content where applicable or work with internal teams to create engaging content in other formats such as video or infographics for example.
• Search engine optimisation – Prepare initial content and SEO audits of client websites including recommendations for improvement where possible. Work with internal teams to ensure content and websites follow best practice for SEO.
• Campaign management – Deliver and manage on-going content marketing campaigns.
• Campaign analysis – Track and analyse campaign performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Project management – Ensure campaigns are well managed and delivered to agreed timelines. Assist with new business proposals and pitches to recommend relevant digital and content marketing solutions.

Technical skills & experience
• Proven content marketing knowledge and skills are essential with the ability to plan and produce effective content for digital channels including websites & social media.
• Previous experience of working in a content marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO) or a digital marketing role.
• A strong copywriter.
• Experience of working with popular keyword research, SEO and social media reporting tools.
• Advanced website analysis skills using tools such as Google Analytics.
• Google Certifications in Analytics and AdWords preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of PPC, HTML/CSS and WordPress would be advantageous.
• A confident communicator comfortable presenting in front of clients
• A ‘can-do’ attitude with the enthusiasm and drive to create great work within tight deadlines.
