Marketing and Communications Assistant – Travel between London and Edinburgh

PTS Consulting is seeking to add an experienced Marketing and Communications Assistant to their growing Marketing Team. This role will be suitable for those with experience in a sales and or commercial environment who are familiar with content generation, digital marketing, event management and internal communications. You will work with the Marketing team and wider PTS to ensure that brand management, press releases, marketing channels and internal communications are effective and that business outcomes are met through these initiatives.

Due to the nature of this role you will also be required to have a strong understanding of the English language, both in writing and verbally.

Role requirements
As well as assisting in the above, your role will focus on the following:

– The Development of Marketing Collateral – Case Studies, Company Profiles, Service Brochures, Thought Leadership, Press Releases and Sales Presentations
– The Management of key Channels to Market – Event Management, Website & Social Media and Email Marketing
– Occasional customer calling to assist with marketing activities

Skills required for this role

– Excellent standard of English language written skills
– High standard of English language oral skills
– Ability to efficiently and effectively analyse high level, technical, written and oral information and translate into meaningful and coherent Marketing themes and messages
– Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word and PowerPoint with good Microsoft Excel skills
– Good understanding of Social Media in a business context, and SEO
– Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards
– Ability to multi-task with good time management whilst working to challenging deadlines
– Good organisational and interpersonal skills
– Ability to challenge constructively
