Registered Manager – Children’s Service

About me support are currently looking for a new Registered Manager for this medium sized children’s care provider in Bedford, Bedfordshire

Our client is an exceptionally well regarded provider of care to Children with varied levels of Challenging Behaviour. They offer exceptional rehabilitation services and specialist educational programs for the development of these children to further their lives as normal in the community.

Based around the area of Bedford you will ideally have previous experience of working in these types of environments and hold a QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management.

You will need to be a current Registered manager in a similar service and looking for your next move up into mid management.

Job role:

To ensure the base home provides and maintains the highest levels of care and service in accordance with the companies mission, vision, policies and procedures.

To provide professional support, guidance and supervision to other Home Managers within the Locality under the direction of the Regional Manager.

To ensure person centred care plans are established, renewed, maintained and implemented for each child or young person.

To manage effectively and efficiently all allocated resources of the home, both human and financial.

To plan the daily and weekly management of the home and support and ensure that the shift leaders and support staff carry out their duties and responsibilities.

To work with professional colleagues to ensure each child or young persons best interests are identified and plans established to meet them.

To work with the Regional Manager to implement, create and monitor a framework of care systems to enable the above.

To manage and prepare staff rotas.

To be involved and adjudicate in staff disciplinary procedures.

Salary is up to £45,600+ Benefits.
