Salary 23.500 + overtime + call out, long term possibly permanent position.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Job purpose
Form part of a team to carry out planned maintenance and repairs to both electrical and mechanical equipment to meet business and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
The main duties of the position are to:

1) to carry out all day-to-day ppm tasks of M&E maintenance are completed in line with our contractual obligations.

2) Fault find and repair all assets and ensure they are maintained in accordance with the O&M manuals, maintenance manuals, best practice and relevant guidelines/legislation.

3) Maintenance of HV/LV electrical systems on site.
4) Control of contractors ensuring SSOW, policies and procedures are being adhered to completing associated paperwork.
6) participate in an on-call rota and respond to all reactive calls in line with our contractual time scales, complete job sheets, reports and documentation accurately and as required.
In addition it is important to have the correct attitude to work safely in accordance with our SSOW, policies and procedures, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
A professional approach and image must be adhered to at all times.
It may be necessary to undertake any ad-hoc duties that may be necessary during the course of the working shift, and to undergo training as and when required by the Company to fulfil the needs and demands of the contract.

Knowledge skills & experience
• Qualified to the IEE 17th Edition.
• Proven ability to fault find and repair industrial plant and equipment.
• Desirable skills and experience would include C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing.
• It would be an advantage to have had experience as an HV/AP
• To have obtained an H&S qualification such as IOSH Working Safely.
Person
• The successful candidate must be flexible and, be in good physical health, have a driving licence and have good interpersonal skills.

• Specific on-site training will be given as required
