CNC Service Engineer

Salary: £42,000 – £66,000 per year

A leading global machine manufacturer require a Service Engineer to join they’re growing team, this is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the worlds most renowned brands. Are you currently a Maintenance or Service Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? The role will cover a section of the South West region.

Service Engineer

• Servicing, maintaining and installation of machines

• Attending faults, diagnosing problems, and rectifying machines

• Replacing parts, as necessary

• Liaising with Technical support, Service Management and Customer Services

• Undertaking planned maintenance of machines

• Identifying any parts required and order via Service and/or Spares department

• Be an integral part of a project installation team

• Provide technical support to colleagues within the Service & Engineering functions

• Explaining machine faults, findings and repairs undertaken to customers. This may be in the form of a written report

As the successful Maintenance or Service Engineer, you will have a solid background in a similar role with excellent customer service skills – the company pride themselves on the service they deliver.

Skills & Experience:

• Electrical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Having a basic understanding and knowledge of PLC/ CNC – systems and mechanical engineering (Beneficial)
• An engaged and courageous personality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• The willingness to build sustainable relationships with colleagues and supervisors based on honesty and empathy
• Ability to or willingness to learn how to work with a DMS, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), LMS (SAP Success Factors) and Microsoft Office
• Full, valid driving licence
