Hygiene Supervisor

Salary: £30,000 – £32,400 per year

Hygiene Supervisor, Kettering, 8.30am – 5pm (5 days in 7), £25K – £27K doe.

Our client is a highly successful production company who on top of years of success, continue to grow and have ambitious plans for increased business over the next 3 years and beyond.

Due to further growth, they are looking to appoint a Hygiene Supervisor.

Reporting to the Quality Coordinator the Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible for

supervising the hygiene requirements of the operation and to act as hygiene lead for maintaining all GMP standards within the site

Key accountabilities of the Hygiene Supervisor

• Conduct internal hygiene audits as when required
• To ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered to
• ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate
• To ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and external
• Monitor, control and minimise waste
• Keep all cleaning/hygiene and training records up to date
• Support audit requirements (including presentation of records)
• Develop training/processes and new ways of working in line with business requirements
• Ensure that all workwear is clean at the start of the shift and that it is kept in a good state of repair
• Ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is kept to a good standard

Experience required for the role of Hygiene Supervisor;

Ideally you will be working in hygiene and have some supervisory experience or are looking for your next step. We would also welcome applications from individuals who work in other areas such as Quality Management which would have crossover into hygiene.
