Mastered is an online fashion school like no other.

Our courses are taught by industry icons. They focus on the skills that rising and established fashion professionals need to make a career. And when they’ve finished studying we support our alumni with the opportunities and connections to help them succeed.

We recently launched the Val Garland School of Make-up, a three month course for aspiring Make-up Artists around the world. The course sold out a week ahead of schedule and we made our first £1,000,000. Now we’re rolling out new courses fronted by Nick Knight for photography, Sam McKnight for hair styling, Virgil Abloh for streetwear design, Tim Blanks for fashion journalism, Marian Newman for nail art and Nicola Formichetti for styling.

We’re a profitable business with VC backing. We’re well ahead of schedule with our multi-million pound revenue target for 2015. Now we need talented people to join our team in Shoreditch and help us reach that goal.

The Role

You’re someone that loves to make people happy. You send thank you notes. You help people when they need it, and sometimes when they don’t. You’re empathetic, intelligent and know how to bring out the best in people. You see the value in coaching and want to help people reach their goals.

Talent Managers make sure our customers have the best experience possible. You’ll be the first point of contact for students, from their application to the day they graduate. From identifying the best applicants and selling them the course, to providing mentoring, advice and feedback while they study, your job will involve building and maintaining strong relationships.

You’ll need great interpersonal and persuasion skills. You might come from a luxury retail background, account management, or maybe you’re working as a creative in the industry and want a change of career.

You’ll work on one of our new courses, so specialist knowledge would really help. If you weren’t working at Mastered, you’d be the kind of person our courses are aimed at.

You will:

Review applications, and make decisions on who is good enough for a Mastered course.

Build relationships with your customers, and persuade them to take your course.

Answer all questions that your customers ask.

Support your customers through the course, provide advice and feedback, deal with their practical concerns and keep them happy.

Implement the student on boarding strategy.

Manage the Facebook group for enrolled students.

Feed insights from the front line to other teams.

Get testimonials and case studies from the best students.

Support our alumni team to match students with opportunities.

Track and report on key sales metrics.
