I am working with a fabulous independent care home based in the Earls Barton area to find them a Care Support Worker to join their friendly team.

In this role you will:

* Provide high standards of personal care, hygiene and support to residents

* Respond quickly and efficiently to the nurse call system

* Perform administrative duties (paper based and digital) as directed, such as filling out daily notes, managing care plans, etc

* Assist the Manager and / or Care Coordinators in performing risk and clinical assessments on residents, as required

* Uphold company policies and procedures, especially in relation to health and safety

* Ensure that residents’ bedrooms and personal belongings are maintained to the high standards specified

* Perform laundry and ironing duties

* Help serve meals and assist in the kitchen and dining room

* Provide group or one-on-one activities to residents

For this post you must have:

• Experience of working in a care home

• The ability to work shifts on a rota basis

• An understanding of the needs of older people

• The ability to carry out physically demanding tasks
