Self Employed Collection and Delivery Driver

We offer a full range of services and solutions to support our customers through the whole process of vehicle inspections, collection and deliveries, vehicle demonstrations and refurbishment. The Role

We collect, appraise and deliver vehicles nationwide, and your job would be to help us do this in a safe and efficient way in order to meet customer’s demands and requirements.

Along side the driving of vehicles you would be required to undertake accurate vehicle appraisals, noting any damage on the hand held android devices.

As a driver at BCA Logistics, no two days are ever the same. Whether you’re based from a drivers hub or your home address, you’ll be sure to have a varied and interesting day, travelling to areas you might usually not! There is a full driver support team which are always on hand to offer support and guidance should you have any issues or problems along the way. Over time you will build a great rapport with your co-ordinator, the person that plans and distributes your work to you each day!

You

Previous driving experience is preferential but is not essential as long as there is a good understanding of the UK road network. As appraisals will be undertaken on a hand held smart device, confidence and proficiency using a smart phone or tablets is essential. As a driver you will come into contact with a range of clientele, so a smart and professional appearance is key.

Our drivers are expected to be available for a minimum of 3 days per week (ideally 4 or more) including Mondays and Fridays. Drivers must be over the age of 23 for insurance purposes and held a Full UK license for 5 years with ideally a maximum of 6 points. On occasion you will be required to take a vehicle home over night, so must have private off road parking at your home address.

We recognise it can take a while to get your feet under the table, and as this is a self-employed role we have protected income during the induction and onboarding process. There are also new competitive rates of pay with a real attractive earning potential.

Full induction and training will be supplied with this position, to guide and assist you through your first few weeks.
