Salary: £216 – £300 per day
* Part time SENCO required at a secondary school in the borough of Greenwich
* Temporary role starting ASAP
* Non-Teaching Special Needs position
Ace Academics are seeking a SENCO for our client, a fantastic secondary academy based in the borough of Greenwich, South East London. They have recently been rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. You will be working within a well-resourced and experienced Special Needs department with several specialists to support you. There are excellent transport links to this school which is based in a central location.
The successful SENCO will have the following Qualifications/Experience.
You must have a Special Needs related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS, SCITT.
A keen desire to work within a mainstream secondary school
Excellent subject knowledge
Previous middle leadership experience would be desirable
You must have a clear understanding of the UK national curriculum
