Senior Manufacturing Operative

Our client is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join there established Manufacturing company in the Leicestershire area. You will be responsible for the process of manufacturing adhesives paints and arts and craft products for the domestic and over-seas markets.

They are looking for a candidate who is committed and is able to work under pressure

Duties will include:
Manufacturing wet products such as inks, paints glues etc. as directed by Production Manager
Carrying out product and process checks during manufacturing
Responsible for manufacturing of time sensitive products
Following Reference sheets and ensuring high standards of Health and Safety during day to day operations
Recording Data and testing

Skills and Attributes required:
Excellent communication skills
Commitment to quality and determination to succeed
Ability to work in a pressurised environment
PC literacy with a reasonable standard of numeracy & literacy
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery is essential
Ability to gather data and understand results
Be able to work under own initiative and be highly self-motivated
Forklift licence/ Preferred not essential
