Counsellor/CBT therapist

Our client is looking for an experienced Counsellor to join their occupational health team on a full time basis. The key to this role is providing help and support to employees via the Employee Assistance Programme and offer counselling sessions over the telephone. This is an interesting role for someone who is keen to broaden their knowledge to encompass all aspect of health: MSK, nutrition, exercise and how this can affect mental health. Candidates should be open online, skype, and phone based counselling. This role is office based in Tewkesbury. Hours are full time (37.5) office hours Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responding to inbound telephone queries offering advice and support to a range of issues

* Conduct assessments via telephone-based interventions and produce tailored action plans to support Customers.

* Provide timely concise and well written reports that provide the right balance of recommendations for the organisation.

* Support other case managers and provide specialist advice to complex cases.

Knowledge, Skills and experience:
• Experience of delivering CBT /counselling via telephone and comfortable with this area of counselling
• Experience of managing common mental health problems
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word)
• High level of organisational ability

Salary c£30/30K depending on experience.
