Salary: £33,600 – £38,400 per year

We are thrilled to be assisting a multi-award winning apprenticeship provider (Ofsted – Good) in recruiting an MIS/ Compliance Manager to be based in their Central Manchester office. There is the opportunity to work from home for 1 or 2 days a week, however the successful candidate will be primarily based from the office.

The client are an apprenticeship provider that specialises in accountancy, procurement & supply chain, management, project management, propety management and business administration.

Along with high profile clients, the business is rated EXCELLENT by both employers and learners on the ‘Find An Apprenticeship’ service.

The main aims of the role is to manage the MIS System and administrator, whilst monitoring the work of others who directly input onto PICS, Apprenticeship Service and OneFile. You will also produce timely and accurate MIS reports on a regular basis to be presented to Directors, Programme Managers and other departments. The successful applicant will ensure timely and accurate completion of ILR returns to the ESFA and ensure all learner data and evidence is compliant with ESFA audit and funding requirements.

Key Duties

– Conduct 121 reviews and Appraisals

– Set clear performance objectives

– Report to the Director of Operations on the quality and accuracy of input into PIC’s and other systems

– Deputy for the central admin Team when the Ops Director is off work (holidays etc

– Ensuring GDPR compliancy around learner information

– Production of monthly internal reports

– Production of daily PIC’s reports

– Future Talent reports

– Ad Hoc reports for PIC’s

– Populating the dashboard

– PIC’s achievement reports

– Learners information is accurately obtained, processed and recorded as per ESFA evidence requirements

– Reconciling the data through PDSAT and Hub reports

– Keeping up to date with ESFA ILR update requirements

– Ensuring that funding is claimed in an accurately and time manner by reconciling the DAS, PIC’s and Remittance reports

– Documentation in place that adheres to ESFA requirements at all times e.g Start packs

– Robust processes are in place to ensure data is collected on a timely and cost effective basis

– All relevant staff are trained to complete the paperwork accurately

– Effective quality assurance processes are undertaken to identify non-compliant evidence quickly

Previous Experience & Skills

– Expert knowledge of PiC’s, One-File,

– In depth knowledge of ESFA funding and audit requirements

– In depth knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and how they are funded

– Highly organized, with the ability to plan and multi task various responsibilities

– Excellent ICT and Data analytical and reporting skills

– Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills

– Adaptability – Efficient under pressure, and meets deadlines

– Result oriented: Ability to achieve the target within given time
