Carpenters / Joiners – Falmouth

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for people that are competent in Carpentry or Joinery that would be interested in transferring their skills into building boats. 

ABOUT THE POSITION

Salary: £26,000 – £35,100 per year, depending on experience and paid weekly

Hours: 42.5 hours a weeks

Overtime available at flat rate up to 45 hours, time and a quarter thereafter

7.00am – 17:30 pm Monday to Thursday

Benefits: £1000 tool allowance bonus after 2 years’ service.

The role will be varied and will depend on the applicant’s expertise, however, will involve the building, fit-out and repair of high-quality boats, motor launches, yachts and tenders, including:

• Scribing and fitting Joinery parts
• Fitting teak decks
• Fitting external Stainless-steel hardware
• Installation of windows, doors and furnishings
• Using hand and machine tools
• Fitting of GRP parts
• And all other aspects of Boat Assembly
